It takes him a while to answer- he's on the other side of his cabin, and he's careful these day. He has to find his gun, and put it in its holster, before he even considers opening the door.
When he does, he looks surprised. "To what do I owe this surprise, then?"
"Heard you died. Meant to bring you cocoa while you were in the infirmary, but.." he shakes his head with a smile and offers one of the mugs. "You seemed to like it last time so I figured I should do it again."
"It's me aunt did the decorating. And my ma before that." His accent is a little thicker today- he's still tired, sore, though better now that he's sitting.
He smiles and walks over, considering the chair for a long moment before he sits down. It looks like it should hold. "I don't think I will ever understand humans and the whole family thing. Just not how my kind does things."
Bull shakes his head. "I won't pretend to understand, it is a strange concept to me. Would be to most Qunari. But then again there are other people in Thedas where family matters a lot. Your family all live together?"
That he can understand a bit more. "Quanri don't ave families but we are supposed to bond with those we work with." He smiles slightly. "Not quite like family but.."

He eyes the chair as well, but they're sturdy, old things- they've survived this long.
