"That it is. Same with slaves being sent into battle. They don't want to be there and they don't deserve to. But at least in the case of horses there is no way around it, we need them too much." He strokes the neck of the horse he is riding. "But in my experience, the soldiers know that and do their best to spoil them when they can."
